For the past twenty-three years, Mesbur+Smith Architects has completed over 400 cinemas worldwide. Currently, our work is concentrated in North America, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Our projects range from conversions of single screen cinemas into multiplexes in Russia and Bosnia, to an eighteen-screen new complex with over 4,000 seats in the Santa Fe Mall in Mexico City. We are developing a chain of cinemas in Vietnam for Megastar, and the largest multiplex in Ludhiana, India for Shringar with twelve screens and over 2,500 seats. In the Villagio Mall in Doha, Qatar, we are designing a 13 screen Venetian themed multiplex with 2,700 seats, including a 400 seat Imax Theatre. These projects are typical of our very diverse and creative architectural practice.
