Showcase Cinema (Los Angeles, California USA - 1987)

The eight hundred seat Gordon Theatre, a Los Angeles art deco gem, was meticulously restored and refurbished. Its fanciful wall murals, which were deteriorated and damaged by mildew, were restored to their original condition. New seating, carpets, colours and decorative details were selected to complement and enhance the original design. The project received an award from the Los Angeles Architectural Conservancy.
